| If you are new to the Lethbridge Area and wish to make new friends and learn about the community, this is the club for you! We hold a dinner meeting on the 4th Monday of every month at a local restaurant. These meetings always have interesting guest speakers and fun activities. The club also hosts several other mini-clubs such as : Moms and Tots, Craft Night, Scrabble, Bridge, Couples Night, Wine Social, Lunch Bunch, Hiking, etc.. Other fun activities include Fun Casino Night, Scavenger Hunt, Spring BBQ, Bowling etc. Our focus is on having fun and meeting new people and helping the 'newcomer' feel welcome and at home in their new community. | The Medicine Hat Newcomers Club is a gathering of people, singles, couples and their families who have moved to Medicine Hat area within five years. Our aim is to offer good fellowship and provide the opportunity for members to discover and become involved in the community. Our logo represents the coming together of families, offering many things to each member; new friendships, helping people, socializing and sharing in different activities.We have a volunteer executive and conduct monthly general meetings on the fourth Monday of each month. The meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. at the The Volunteer Center, 856 Allowance Ave. Guest speakers from the community give us information or presentations on topics of varied interests and are followed by socializing and refreshments.
