The club was and still is a provider of fellowship and support to women in Richardson. In keeping up with the needs of the community we changed our name and our by-laws in 1994 to include not only newcomers to Richardson, but to all women in Richardson and the surrounding areas. We have since welcomed many long-term area residents who have recently left the work force and have found themselves with no “daytime” friends. We continue to be a source of friendship to members who have been with us for many years and we have found their experiences and knowledge of the Metroplex to be invaluable to newcomers. We hope to benefit those who seek to build associations in this community for as long as they are here. | ||
