| The Cosmopolitan Women's Club of Leipzig was founded to serve and support Leipzig's diverse international women. C.W.C. has rapidly grown from its small beginning in March 1997 and continues to expand to represent the changing and growing international face of Leipzig. C.W.C. seeks to welcome international women, "new" and "old", to Leipzig to find and get to know each other, to interchange ideas interests and experiences in order to become more quickly acclimatised on a personal and family basis and to "feel at home" in Leipzig. C.W.C. offers a wide range of activities which allow women of all nationalities to meet each other reflecting their varied interests, talents, experiences and professions. All nationalities are welcome to join C.W.C. although in order to mantain the International balance of the club, those from the home country may be placed on a waiting list.
