| P.L.A.Y. Group of NWI is a group of mothers who enjoy getting together in a variety of settings to offer encouragement to one another as our children interact and play. The activities are planned one month in advance to give mothers time to plan their schedules. We plan a variety of activities: sledding in the winter, meeting at parks in the summer, play groups in members homes, and lunch at restaurants with play areas for the kids. These activities last from one to two hours and provide a time of play for the kids while allowing moms to talk and share experiences. Along with activites planned with our children, we also plan a Moms Night Out once or twice a month, where members get together without their children to interact and offer support. We also have once a month a scrapbooking night for those moms who enjoy this activity. This is also a time for members to get together without their children. We are open for all mothers of children from newborn on up who want to join. Our annual dues are $20 for the whole family. | What exactly is Valley Mom's (or vMoms)? It's a new group dedicated for mom's located in the Wabash Valley. Included in the Wabash Valley are the following counties: (In Indiana) Clay, Daviess, Fountain, Greene, Knox, Martin, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo. (In Illinois) Clark, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar and Jasper. If you live in one of those counties VM is for you! | ||
