This is a directory of Newcomers Clubs, Women's Groups, Moms Clubs & Dads organizations in Mexico, which are designed to give men and women the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with others who live in the area. Many of these groups have general meetings and interest groups which encourage members to learn about their new city, its culture, activities, lifestyle, and to develop friendships by sharing interests and hobbies with each other. INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S CLUB OF CANCUN Cancun, Mexico		updated Feb-2006

The IWC is a non-profit organization founded to provide English-speaking women a forum in which to meet socially to exchange ideas and cultural knowledge. We welcome newcomers, local residents and visitors. The original idea was “to bring together English-speaking women to exchange ideas, to help each other adapt to Cancun, and to make friends”.

NEWCOMERS CLUB OF CUERNAVACA Cuernavaca, Mexico 62250		updated Apr-2008

The Newcomers Club of Cuernavaca, with a membership base of 200 people, focuses on the cultural integration of our members into the rich Mexican enironment. We welcome English speakers of all nationalities who live in and around Cuernavaca to be part of our community, whether recent arrivals or long-time residents. Club activiites range from presentations by keynote speakers, tours, cooking classes, book, film and dance clubs, coffee orientations for new members and holiday parties. Newcomers Club is proud to contribute to our community with numberous community out-reach, philanthropic activities that take place year round, including concers, special programs and luncheons. Last year the Newcomers Club of Cuernavaca contributed to various charities which serve local communities, including Caminamos Juntos Para Salud Y Desarrollo, an organization that assists a remote village in the state of Guerrero. A monthly newsletter an an annual Service Gude are published for our members.

NEWCOMERS CLUB OF MEXICO CITY Mexico City, Mexico		updated May-2004

The main function of Newcomers is to acclimate members and their families to life in Mexico City, the Club also promotes Mexican culture and provides philanthropy to a number of charities including orphanages, schools, hospitals, foundations for disabled children and other fellowships by providing food, clothing, furniture, toiletries and services such as plumbing, painting and repair work; volunteer work and funding. Newcomers hosts a number of events throughout the year to raise funds and goods for support of their charities, Some of these include a Home Tour, a Holdiay Charity Brunch and a monthly meeting where various goods, along with funds are collected for donation. NEWCOMER'S CLUB OF MONTERREY, MEXICO Monterrey, Mexico		updated Oct-2005

The Newcomers' Club of Monterrey was formed to welcome all Newcomers to the Monterrey area and help them to adjust to their new home. We currently have around 150 members of many nationalities. Meetings are the second Tuesday of every month, and are conducted in English. We also offer social activities such as: Bunko, Kids Play Groups, Neighborhood Coffee,and Book Club. We are also dedicated to charity within the area and visit local orphanages on a monthly basis. There really is something for everyone! Membership includes a survival guide full of information about Mexico in general, and Monterrey specifically. We publish a monthly newsletter full of information and club activities. INTERNATIONAL NEWCOMERS OF QUERETARO Queretaro, Mexico		updated May-2008

The International Newcomers Club of Queretaro exists to provide a medium of friendship, interest and activity for people who are in our community and to promote the Mexican culture to all members. We do this by holding regular meetings, organizing social gatherings such as holiday parties, a book club, dine-outs, visiting interesting places throughout Mexico and providing community services. All of our meetings and activities are held in English, though many of our members speak a host of other languages.
