We operate with an open calendar where all members add park days, playdates, family potllucks and include public activities in the Northern Nevada area. We also have a Mom's Night Out and a Dad's Night Out about every other month. There are generally 5-15 activities on the calendar for any given week, Sun-Sun at various times so working members may also participate. We have Moms, Dads, Grandparents and other caregivers as members so anyone who is a caregiver to a child is welcome to join. The only requirements are that you complete a preapproval survey upon your request to join and that you have some level of participation. There are also some basic rules that members must follow (no anonymity, being respectful to others etc) There are no dues and most of our activities are free or low cost so there isn't a financial burde n for our members. We utilize yahoo groups in order to maintain our "no dues" membership. If you're interested in trying a non-traditional playgroup with plenty of options for you and your children, please check us out. Currently most of our activities occur within the Reno and Sparks areas because they are member planned but we do have a handful of members in the Fernley, Carson and Dayton areas. | ||
