| Originally founded in 1972 by a group of five oil-related wives, the Petroleum Women’s Club, based in Aberdeen, has grown in membership to around three hundred. This is an international club which sets out to promote friendship and understanding among all women connected with the petroleum industry. Members and their families are warmly welcomed during their time in the North East of Scotland. We currently have 40 nationalities in our membership. | ||

| The American Women of Berkshire and Surrey Club was founded in 1981 to offer encouragement and support for all American women and their families, residing in the Berkshire/Surrey area, as well as to provide social and educational contacts and opportunities in an atmosphere of good will. The purpose of the AWBS is to welcome and assist all newcomers and their families, to promote friendship and interaction among members, and to further their knowledge and understanding of England.Membership in the group has expanded over the years from the original 32 members to over 700. Our members attend monthly meetings from September through June, receive a copy of our magazine, Common Ground, and enjoy the opportunity to pursue social, cultural, charitable, and special interests. | ||

| Cheshire and North Wales IVC is a friendly social club for professionals,graduates and like minded people in the age range 21 to 40. It is informal and low cost and is simply a group of like minded people who want to have the opportunity of meeting others and partaking in similar activities. A non-profit making organisation. All our events are organised by our members who contribute to a monthly programme which is sent out to everyone. We organise a wide variety of both social and sporting activities. These range from theatre trips to dining out and from easy Sunday afternoon walks to weekends away e.g. Youth Hostelling. It covers the whole of the county of Cornwall. Cornwall is known as one of the main seaside holiday regions of England, with lots of pretty countryside and beautiful beaches, but it is very rural and quiet out of season, and the large number of newcomers who move here often find it difficult to make friends and have any social contact with other locals - especially during the winter months. However, we organise social events for newcomers on a regular basis all across Cornwall throughout the year and help newcomers to settle here in Cornwall. | ||

The Devon South organisation covers the historic cities of Plymouth and Exeter, the English Riviera seaside holiday resorts of Brixham, Paignton, and Torquay, the moorland areas of Tavistock and Dartmoor, and the pretty countryside areas of the South Hams & East Devon. We organise social events in all the main towns every week, and throughout the region through the year and extend a warm welcome to anyone new to the county of Devon, with many hundreds of members, helping all newcomers settle in and make lots of friends.
